WALL, N.J. – First Financial Federal Credit Union (www.firstffcu.com), Magic 100.1 and 95.9 The WRAT FM, recently awarded twenty-four deserving Monmouth and Ocean County public school teachers and one educational support professional with the fifth annual Teachers Who Rock Awards. An awards banquet was held last week at the Clarion in Toms River, NJ.

Teachers were nominated by their superintendent, principal, a co-worker, or parent.

“It is a privilege to award these notable educators of the surrounding communities. Acknowledging their achievements and commitment to their students is truly an honor,” said Issa Stephan, President and CEO of First Financial.

Tammy Meyh of Lacey Township Middle School (pictured above) was also awarded an educational themed gift basket in a drawing sponsored by First Financial Federal Credit Union.

When asked what she planned to do with her prize, Ms. Corrado, a First Financial member and Rowan University student who is studying electrical and computer engineering noted,  “I plan to use the money to pay off a portion of my college loans.”
